Pokemon Crystal - Sentret Only Run

Rules:
- Use only a single Sentret against all the boss battles, and never allow it to evolve.

Here we go with the Sentret Crystal playthrough, and as you can probably tell from the video length, it was much tougher than the Rattata Red run. The Gym Leaders are smarter, (for the most part) have better movesets and Sentret is so much worse than Rattata. Still not as difficult or as fun as the Unevolved challenges, though.

Will you try a Zigzagoon only run for Pokemon Emerald next ?

It might be easier than this one, however, since Zigzagoon is a bit bulkier and faster than Sentret...

@HunterRyosuke It should be. Zigzagoon also has Belly Drum to hit extra harder, but I'm worried about Brawly, Wattson and especially Liza & Tate.

@whoisthisgit I understand what you mean about Liza & Tate... A double battle with a single unevolved Pokemon will be tough... Steven (If you choose to fight him during post-game) should be quite a challenge too.

On a side note, even if Red's Pikachu was defeated quite easily, I suppose it made Snorlax a bit harder to defeat since you couldn't use any Physical attacks, am I right ?

@HunterRyosuke Exactly. I was fully expecting the Pikachu to use Charm, (Not as much as he did, though!) which is why I used so many X Specials to build Sentret's Sp. Atk. I probably should've got Thunderbolt or Ice Beam from the Move Tutor, so Snorlax was defeated in two turns; if he got a critical hit from Body Slam, Sentret would've been a goner. Still, I won, so no matter.

@whoisthisgit I think he only appear after Red has been defeated once, however... I'm not sure though. Not that it really matters now.

Seriously, good job, I would never have had enough patience to do these kind of challenges.
