Laurens POV:

I was apparently sitting on s table in the ambulance because I felt something hard underneath me and I knew it wasnt the floor. I heard someone crying next to me. Joe maybe? Then. Then I saw him. It was...

Normal POV:

Lauren: *screams*
Joe: Lauren? Lauren are you ok?
Lauren: *silent*

Laurens POV:

It-It was my dad. My dad who abused me when I was little. And my mom. She was by him too. Standing there. Getting beaten by my dad. (Btw this is not true about my family. My parents are still happily together :D) She was tolerating it. She wasnt running away. He was just beating her with a belt. Then it hit me. She was doing this all for me. I remember the last words my dad said before he started beating my mom. Those simple words were ones that would scare me for life. Its u or her he pointed to me. Those words were the ones that had caused my heartache. She was tolerating it for me. Then I saw him. God.

God: Lauren see why you are alive today?
I stood there very still only taking glances at God and kept looking over at my parents. Y did you make him so angry all the time? So violent?
God: It wasnt my decision. It was his.
I tried to analyze those very words. But couldnt you have stopped him?
God: I could have but everything happens for a reason.
A single tear streaked down my rosy check But whats a good reason for that?
God: One day you will find out yourself.
I felt my knees wobbling under me. I was shaking uncontrollably. But y cant you just tell me?
God: because It is similar to why you charged in when you knew one of you, eighter Joe or yourself would get hurt in anyway, shape, or form.
I understood what he ment but I did that for true love.
God: and so did your mom.
With those Last words I understood everything.
God: When you truly love somebody you would do wonders for them. Even jump infront of a bullet for them.
He looked at me and then continued on.
God: When you find that true love nothing can take you back.
I hesitated with this one simple question Will I be ok God?
God: I dont think you should
I was stunned, I thought god was sposed to love me why?
God: Because you deserve to be better than ok. You deserve to be alive.
I was wondering if he really ment it. Then I opened my eyes only to see the love of my life crying. His eyes were blood shot.
