Phantasy Star Online: The Whole New World.

Hooooooly hell, it's Phantasy Star Online! I went through a lot of crap to get this game. I actually stole money from my mom to go and purchase it. I said i was getting it the day it came out and gosh darnit, I ment it! However, Karma came and smacked me in the face when the Dreamcast my friend gave to me broke six months later. So I didn't have much time to play it online, but the time I did, was truly an awesome experience. I never did purchase another Dreamcast 'til recently. PSO coming out for the Gamecube kinda prevented me from buying another one even more. I was a fool, I should've got another one as soon as i got the money. The Dreamcast is truly an awesome console.


Anywho, This RPG is amazing. A lot of memories stored with it. I would just screw with the weapons for hours, Y'know? If you don't have it I HIGHLY recommend you pick it up. You can get it at Amazon and Ebay. HOWEVER, if you whish to get the Gamecube version it won't come cheap. 80 bucks used. 160.... new. That's right. 160 bucks for a single game. Both at Amazon and Ebay. If you don't have Phantasy Star for the Genesis, I recommend you pick those up as well. You could probably find them on Amazon and Ebay as well. Oh, and II, III, and IV are on VC. Also, if you don't have a Dreamcast you can get them preeetty cheap at Amazon. I got one new for only 100. I can so talk about the Dreamcast for days. I really hate when people say: "Why did it die?" For me, it's still very well alive.

................................................... I would marry my Dreamcast in a heartbeat. :D

Great song, great game. I still play it today. In fact, by the time this comment is posted, I'll be back to playing it. I just wanted a little ambiance music instead of the creepy cave music while I slay shark-men. Good Job.

You can still play PSO on your computer for free, online. Just google SCHThack, real easy. Also, PSO2 was just announced at TGS, and it looks to be a true successor of PSO, unlike PSU.

Ah, the memories... 300+ hours into this game, only so low because my GC broke about a year ago. My second game ever, and my favorite. Thank you for uploading this.

also, are you serious about the GC version being $80 used? I have 2 copies, so i lend my second to my friends to get them started on the best series ever.

It varies. I've seen people sell "collectibles" for 50 bucks. They usually sell around 50 bucks used/collectible and around 90 for new. New can get up to 160 sometimes, and people buy 'em. >_>

I sat playing this on my netbook at a friend's house. His young son sat next to me and was glued to it. I controlled the movement and healing, he just shot things, his face lit up when we killed the dragon at the end of Forest.

I highly recommend getting on the SCHThack servers, might have to go through their forums to get the client set-up, but it's worth the time, this game runs on anything and is lots of simple fun.
