@mzmissa Later on, Petrovski (sp?) and Sofronie were good bar workers, and Petrovski used to do a really hard dismount (like at the World Cup a few years back) but the rest of them never seem to be any good on it. Even at the 2008 Olympics, they weren't that good.
It's a shame considering Nadia C started it all off years ago with her innovations on UB.

one on vault, one on bars, two on beam; not "a lot" but enough to cost them the gold...
God the Romanians are awful on bars. It really is a shame the Russians messed up on a few routines to cost them the gold. They definitely were the front runners and as a team were the most artistic combined with difficult tumbling in the competition. That's ok though, because they dominated the event finals.

Agreed, I still think the four Russian floor routines alone were the most innovative, artistic, and jam-packed with difficulty! And with so many diff styles for a single team.
