For our next show, we are in Oneida, TN, for Wings over the Big South Fork. This is a much smaller event than you'll normally see AirShowMedia cover; only around 5,000 people showed up at Scott County Airport. But, planes were in the air, so it's certainly worth taking a look at!
In this video, you will see the Remote Aerial Medial (or RAM) jump team take off in their Douglas DC-3 and execute a mass parachute drop from about 10,000 ft. It is very fitting to see, this being the 75th anniversary year of this legendary aircraft, in fact the first widely used airliner in the United States. The announcer is Mike McFarland, working with Schultz Airshows LLC., who did a wonderful job coordinating the show. Enjoy!
