Yet another Fluid Sim Trial ;)

This is similar to my previous post, just a bit bumped up resolution of the geometry and a few materials applied. Although the fluid in no way looks like water :P I didn't touch its properties at all. Next stop: Material properties!

Hey Kamalx0, congratulations, if you're an animator, you know fluid simulation is the most difficult stuff in 3D, and you pulled off nicely. Do you happen to have made a tutorial about this particular trial? It would be nice...

No my friend.. should rather say Blender pulled off pretty nicely.. and that too on my ancient P4 machine :D _and_ when Blender 2.48 was in RC1 stage :)

Well at the time i did it, i had no idea how it would work :) so i decided i am not the right person to teach it yet.. and well it happened through simple experimentation. It's so simple that i managed this one without reading documentation of the feature even..

No offense fluid simulation is the easiest shit to do. It is not animation, he did not make a frame by frame animation. He made a blob, put some ugly water material on, set terrible honey/goey settings on the water, some little bucket, rendered it. Physics built in did everything, he did nothing.

;) well there will be better fluid sim examples up here.. damn.. only if i get enough time.. but there are already many cool fluid sims out there on youtube that are done in the spanking new blender (stable) release (2.48a)
