www.mhmanufacturing.com demonstrates why non coated, non-Flame retardant paper is dangerous. Some clips were 2005~2006 tests as non-fire-retardant lanterns were all that was available lanterns at that time. Many of the lanterns being offered by suppliers today are non-coated, making them burn easily like these. With a group of spectators and a breeze, lighting a non-coated lantern could turn a fun event into a dead serious one. MH Manufacturing is the ONLY producer to offer Flame retardant paper exclusively eliminating this unnecessary risk. No one was hurt or burned filming this so enjoy.

  • lol cheap copies. real one are fire resistant. those there are made of the wrong paper. but this is funny to watch, thanks

  • complete losers have been doing this for centuries, usually they set them out over the ocean. not usually a lot of forests in the ocean but i could be wrong

  • did u copy and paste this to like 30 videos!?!?!

  • Seriously irresponsible to set fire to stuff and launch it into the air to land anywhere. Could end up setting someones house or barn or stables on fire. Could kill people, kill animals, or destroy people's livelihood...

...and how about forest or heath fires?

ah well, its a giggle right?

Only complete losers would do such a thing!

Nonsense to say these are safe - just look at all the you tube videos showing people being idiots with them, and getting caught in trees etc

  • Is there something that you can spray on it to make it flame retardent, or will some type of oil work?

  • I have seen them burn up a lot faster then that. These regular lanterns were the only lanterns available for years, thus they are banned (unless you have permits) in several countries in Asia. Thanks to this invention, Midgar has the option to not only buy and fly a khoom fay, she may even be able to find a copy of this fire-retardant model. Keep up the good work TnT, people need to know the danger.

  • This video is to show you why OUR Lanterns are better... Ours are made with flame retardant paper, and WILL NOT catch on fire! Beware of other exporters/importers out there selling hazardous material.

    TnTsales dot us

  • Judging by how little those guys respected fire... I'll look elsewhere for my Khoom Fay.
