Shannon Hoon was a great man and he had a very beautiful soul. He's chillin with Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain, Jerry Garcia, John Lennon, and all the other great geniuses of the world. One day maybe he'll come back to play one last encore for us. God I hope so.

I think they should get the lead vocalist from The Silversun Pickups as the new lead vocalist for Blind Mellon, he kind of sounds like Shannon.
