Helio- To Write Love on Her Arms

To Write Love on Her Arms (TWLOHA) is a non-profit organisation that aims to present hope for people struggling with addiction, depression, self injury, and thoughts of suicide. "Love is the Movement", "Rescue is Possible", "Hope is real, Help is real" and "Stop the Bleeding" are slogans often used by the organization. "Stop the Bleeding" is the slogan TWLOHA uses for live events, which combine music, art and speaking.

I used to think that I was the only one. I have struggled with depression, self-mutilation, addiction, and attempted suicide. It got so much worse when I was 15 and my mom died of a drug overdose. She was suffering too. I wished I could have saved her. I wished she knew that hope is real. This vid has helped me so much. I admire to write love on her arms with all my heart. <3

@KatieLingleMusic i went throw the same thing with my ex girl friend she loved to see me in pain 24/7 and it lead me to cut all the time not just sometimes and yes it is hard but we all get over it somehow and we all have god to help us throw it

@JessibooLez I don't really know what happened but I wanted to let u know that he doesn't have to have that power over u. I'm recently out of an abusive relationship and while I was still in it, I realized that letting him have enough control over me to drive me to cutting was kinda like letting him win. He wanted to see me hurt and I finally left him because of it. I'm not saying that's what u went through I'm just saying that it's hard but u CAN be strong ♥ Don't let him win, I believe in u ♥

@paranoidsoul13 write it on your own arm, and pretend that someone is writing it for you. the person inside of you who wants to be healed is writing it. tell someone. get help, because there is hope. and, it will be alright. and, i know what it's like, to feel unloved, but, there are people out there, who do love you, and even if you can't see them now, when you need them most, close your eyes, and somewhere, you will see them shining brighter than any star you've ever seen... <3
