I went on vacation for a week and I thought of you all! :0) I had my hair in mini twists and I styled it slightly different each day. I took pictures each day as well. If you have any questions about any of the natural hair mini twist styles, please feel free to leave them in the comment box! Talk to you all soon! - luvbeinnatural

  • I was wondering how long it took you to put the twists in and remove them ? did you do it yourself or go to a salon if so how much did it cost. How do you wash them without unraveling?

  • @itricke I did the mini twists myself, and it took a long time. About 8hrs total. I split it up over a couple of days. I usually braid them before I wash them. It helps prevent them from unraveling, but they still shrink once they get wet. Thanks for watching!! :0)

  • Not sure if this question was asked already, but your twists look so full. Do you part as you go or do you just grab hair and start twisting? I have 4b/c hair and it is very thick, but when I do mini twists they always seem to come out looking real scarce.

  • @abenagrell80 I usually just grab and twist, but lately I have been parting at least a row at a time. The smaller I do them, the more full they look. Especially as they start to shrink up. Hope this helps!! Thanks for watching!! :0)

  • What do you use at night to maintain your twists?

  • @MsMissrere - I usually braid them as I would with my loose strands, and then cover them with a satin scarf or satin bonnet. Thanks for watching!! :0)

  • I'm kinda afraid my hair is too short for mini twists...

  • So you don't take the mini twists a loose but you braid the mini twists into sections? Can you do a tutorial on this so that I can see?

  • Banging! lol You should check out my "Two strand Twist styles: When your in a RUSH!!!" video for even more quick twist styles. Anyways I plan on trying some of these styles! Great vid

  • @Chasing4eva - Hey! I usually keep them in for about 3 weeks and then I take them down some time during the 4th week. So a month would be the max I would keep them in. My hair starts to get really tangled after about 2.5/3 weeks. I'd say try it, just be prepared to take them down sooner if you need to! :0) Good luck! Thanks for watching!!
