This is where the legend began, the first series of ABC TVs 'Race Around the World' in 1997.

Unfortunately John's ninth story was unbroadcastable so they screened the first half of his audition video which is still highly entertaining.

It was his own "confession" so nothing about it was confidential if he filmed it himself. Censoring it was stupid, but I don't know Australian law or sensibilities. Sounds like some Catholics got their rosaries in a bunch.
