Another shot of the beautiful island of Hawaii from the sky. This time, it's an airplane take-off from the Honolulu International Airport flight going to Agana, Guam. =) Honolulu, Hawaii USA Nov. 30, 2008

  • I'm going to miss the 767s flying between Guam-Honolulu. Oh well, now we get the 777s!

  • @tom67264 Theres no winglets here, Theres raked wing tips on this 767-400ER.

They both serve the same purpose, Lowering drag. Picture this wing with LOW pressure air on top and HIGH on the bottom. At the very tip the air mixes and High goes to Low and creates a wing tip vortex which is a form of drag. Winglets inhibit this from occurring.
