JULY 8, 2009: ROCK HILL, SC -- We begin our newscast tonight with two teenagers behind bars charged with the recent rash of burglaries at Good Pharamacy.
18-year-old Jonathan Moore of Charlotte and 17-year-old Brandon Bean of Clover, face dozens of charges, including drug trafficking and burglary. Rock Hill Police say the teens turned themselves in.
A North Carolina police officer is actually the reason behind the arrests. He says this surveillance video triggered his memory. He had recently pulled the two suspects over for speeding and found prescription bottles on them. After seeing this video, he checked the drugs and found they were from Good Pharmacy.
Moore is charged with all three of the burglaries, Bean is charged with two of them. They also have at least a dozen fugitive warrants on them now from Gaston County for drug trafficking because police say they took the stolen drugs over the state line.
They are both being held in Rock Hill. Moore is on a $45,000 bond and Bean is being held on $35,000.
