how long did it take to receive the phone by mail?

@alishashear I ordered during the preorder period and paid for overnight shipping, so my experience isn't typical. What I have found, however, is that it usually takes them a couple of days to ship a phone and about 3 days for the standard shipping, so in all it takes about 5 days from the time you place the order to the time you get the phone.

Can you set up the portable wifi hotspot on this phone? Cause my friend has the one from us cellular and he can. I just wanted to know if it is possible? Thanks.

@Wildemut Unfortunately, you can't make a wifi hotspot with the Precedent.

The speech recognition on the phone is buggy. It switches on it own to Spanish after a few days. It only affects the SR so doing a language change doesn't fix the prob. The only way to get it back to English is to wipe the phone clean and reset back to the factory settings. Thus losing all of the contacts, updates everything that you have setup. If you have large fingers the keypad is a joke and you can't use a stylus as it doesn't recognize the stylus.

dont get this phone! The internal headset is defective in mines. called to get another one sent,was told a 7 day wait without getting another sent UNITL they got the old one back FIRST! REFUND? U bet! Thats a fucking 30 day wait. Walmart stores will not let U exchange or handle your straight talk phones if U bought it off the website. Are U serious???!!! Back to Boost! Id rather pay a bit more but I at least get quality!!!!
