no you ignorent native english speakers learn a second and third languages, like all people do, like me i speak Dutch, German, English, Swedish(i can understand every north Germanic language by that), and am working on my Spanish and Polish, to give you one piece of advice, begin with a Germanic language as second its so easy if you alreaady speak one nativly, they are not so different from eachother, --

-- so if your English the easyest language to learn is Dutch, its a very nice language but not really big only like 1% (50mil) of this world speak Dutch native, so i would go for German thats like 4% (200mil) native speakers, but after Spanish German is the most learnd as a second language, and its the biggest language of Europe like (25%) btw i know the % i used are not most accurate but they give a fairly first impression, well just wanted to tell you
