We asked ourselves; is it possible to swap the chassis of a Series 2 Land Rover in one day? We started at 9:00 am in the morning and finished at 01:00 am, 16 hours of work with two men at the job did the trick. The car is a 1958 model 88" Series 2 Land Rover. The location is outside our (too) small storage-building in Kristiansand, Norway. Enjoy!

Music:
Bonobo - Scuba [Amon Tobin Mix]
...and the sound of a 2,25 ltr Land Rover petrol engine, which some people may call music.

  • dette var stilig fredrik, også så mye oppmerksomhet filmen fikk:D hehe det er jo moro men mener fortsatt du skulle ha satt på benny hill sangen som musikk:P haha

  • That's just fantastic! Last time I worked on a Landy I spent about just as long just removing all the rusted/broken bolts.. :D

Now looking at a Series IIa or III 88 soft-top for myself.. Hoping to do a chassis swap, 200tdi conversion and parabolic spring conversion all in one go. (will take much more than 16 hours I bet, lol!)

    Good work guys!

  • @Pinguing1 Thanks!
