Drawn to the Magic (2 of 2)

Presented at Disney's California Adventure in the Hollywood Pictures Backlot at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim. This show opened in May 2004. It was originally presented infront of the Disney Animation Building with giant paintbrush themed speakers. The intent was to bring in more guests inside the Animation Building. This streetmosphere later moved to the Hollywood Backlot Theater in January 2006. At the end, Woody from Disney-Pixar's "Toy Story" may be changed for Hercules or Peter Pan. And Cinderella is sometimes replaced with Aurora from "Sleeping Beauty".

[Spencer]: I'm drawn to the magic of spells & surprises. With each incantation I'm charmed to believe my dreams come alive and I could realize i could be that "english leads to war?". The magic's in me.

Drawn to the magic, the epic adventure with each classic story that glows on screen. Our dreams come alive and we feel we could be... a hero to all... or the fairest of all... granting wishes to all... the magic's in me. Yes, we're drawn to the magic. There's magic in you and me.

This has to be the most underrated show at California Adventure. I am a HUGE fan of it. Even when I'm working I stop by and watch because it is so full of energy and pays respect to the golden era of animation.

yaaa and sometimes instead of woody its peter pan. and sometimes sleeping beauty. i like when they switch it up a bit.

My pleasure. It's one of my favorite shows. Snow White also makes an occasional appearance and there was a time when the Genie could appear instead of Sorcerer Mickey, but they don't do that any more.
