@fomfan567 This one just happened to be a bad one. AQ wouldn't warranty it so I sold them both. I just bought an AQ HDC3 18" 2 weeks ago and im buying another one soon.

@drjd2real ive had aq subs for about a year and have been putting well over rated to them and have had no problems the new suspension is alot nicer and for the price of them good buy

@popwarhomie Yaeh, I know about Sundown, but don't feel like spending any money. I was dead set on getting 2 more sdc 15's, then I would have had 4. I need to get another amp and H.O. Alt. I had 2 Audiopipe ap30001d's, but one got stolen. I have the money, but it just cuts into my Hayabusa funds. I'll probably get cheaper stuff for the cone area advantage for now. I can't ride without my bass!

@drjd2real Have you looked at Sundown Audio? They have some amazing stuff. Later on down the road ill be looking at 4 15" SDCs in a blow through. Just going to be very easy on them for the first month or two to make sure I dont have that problem again.

@popwarhomie I have no idea right now, but I'm looking at some Cvx and some Audiopipe Ipipes. I know that's no better than AQ, but I tend to lose faith in subs when they mess up like that. I'll be running 3-4 15's or 6 12's ported. I really want something with a 3 inch voice coil or better.

@drjd2real Oh really? What brand you planning for now? I ended up getting 2 of Sundown Audios new SA-8s for now.

@drjd2real Sucks doesnt it. :( Well hopefully they give you a good price on a recone. If not check out fixmyspeaker wibsite PSI does great recones.

From what ive heard its only the HDC3s. SDCs should be fine.
