Jefferson Airplane "White Rabbit" from their album Surrealistic Pillow released in 1967. The song, written by Grace Slick, was previously recorded in 1966 when she was with The Great Society; their album Conspicuous Only In Its Absence was released in 1968.

  • @rickybee They had their unique sound & though they've often been associated w/ psychedelic music, much of it is not, especially the early stuff. Wonderful musicians, melodies, lyrics. My aim with the studio version & photos was to capture some of the zeitgeist of this time in music, culture, art, underground music, which then became popular. You're right, they were the 1st group on stage at Woodstock, the last day Sun. August 17, 1969 in the morning. Ugh, morning! Thanks for watching. (:

  • One of a kind. My favorite rendition is Grace at Woodstock. It seems they were the first group on the stage that morning. Grace looked as though she never went to bed! (or at least to sleep) Good memories. Thanks for sharing.
