There is a fundamental truth that you do not hear on the campaign trail of Rick Santorum in Michigan, Arizona and Washington although it determines laws, policies, and the tone of the overall political conversation. It is a cornerstone of the Biblical world view and I have not heard Ron Paul, Rick Santorum, Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich or Barack Obama talk about it.
What are the consequences of leaving this truth out? How does it shape the parties and their agendas. Why is Rick Santorum not talking about it?

  • The last thing the world needs is a government governed by religious principles. That's why separation of church and state is essential for good government or do you want to live in a Mullah state? Who's to say the Christian God is any better?

  • @axeluk History if you knew it.

  • What rot. Man created what "God says" and what the "Bible says."

Sorry, mr. preacherman, but Jesus is dead and he's not coming back. He never was coming back. Poor, confused Paul was wrong about a lot of other things to.

  • @Shelama There were over 500 people seeing Jesus after His death. So your testimony 2000 years later against 400 time witnesses.

  • This preacher does not know Jesus.

Jesus was all for separation of state and religion.

"My kingdom is not of this earth"

"Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's."

These quotes are much clearer as to Jesus' relation to government than some obscure psalm.

  • He sounds like he is trying to spread the mark of the beast....Every thing jesus. Bunch of bullsh*t. I think it's funny when christians quote from the old testament the HEBREW BIBLE.

  • Mein Deutcher Bruder, The basis of "values" and "principles" come from the Biblical commands. The liberals, are pro-Abortion, pro homosexual behavior, anti-God, anti-religious liberty, anti-Bible. The conservatives are pro-life, pro tradtional marriage, pro-God, pro-religious liberty, pro-Bible. The liberals want to force Christians to provide and fund abortion services in violating of their faith/conscience. The liberals want to remove religious expression from all public life.

  • Brother, We American Christians agree that the government should submit to God. And you cannot read the the Constitution apart from the Dec of independence, which clearly states our rights do not come from Government but from our Creator. The government are supposed to protect our rights, protect those who do good and punish evildoers, to execute justice(Romans 13:1-5). By being just, protecting the rights and those who do good the government is being obedient to God. Follow Biblical principles.

  • @axeluk The idea that we have "certain unallianable rights endowed by our Creator" is a Judeo-Christian principle. The idea of justice, balance of power, liberty, religious liberty (even for non religious which means they shouldnt be forced to believe or worship) these are Judeo-Christian principles. God gives you the right to believe or not to believe, even God doesnt force us. Mullah states believe in no religious liberty, no equal just for no Muslims, so that is a ridiculous comparison.

  • Yes, actually I have heard in a USA debate of Jesus been spoken of in the manner you say is missing in these candidates. People can speak Christ for election but they often get pushed out by the majority because they themselves fear men, and buy into fear tactics of what someone else says about someone. Call it peer pressure. So, even if the pope came wanting to run for President, he would get much opposition from those who do not want that association. Truth be told watch?v=FZxiVnuFFoI

  • Completely agree pastor..this is exactly why America is under Gods judgement. We pay God lip service, and most of the time we don't even do that anymore. Sin is increasing expodentially, our economy is tanking, and we are headed for a fall.

  • You have hit the nail on the head. We Americans have told God we don't want him to govern us. If we don't stand against this ...we stand for it. This is why we are in this sad position.

  • @brianh406 Lol millions and trillions of stars colliding...ok buddy. Look at the world around you and the evil that exists. You got emotions...a conscious..memory..from rocks and stars. If there is no God..believe me humans will eventually wipe each other off the map. Then I guess your hope is that millions of stars will collide again and this process will start all over again. Good luck with your science on this subject.
