    I think it depends on how the japanese signs are read, doesn´t it? I once read Hukuro obi, although it is widely know as Fukuro obi (just for example)

    That's because they don't really have a "hu" but sometimes "fu" is written that way. Their "f" is not as strong as ours.

    Fu and hu are interchangable in roomaji. While fu is used when writing, it's actually pronounced "hu".

    does that depend on the romanization of the word? Tsu sometimes becomes tu depending on who romanizes the word-- do some spell it fu since the sound is almost like the combination of f and h?

    as far as i know it would be wrong, because their is no such letter in the alphabeat that say hu it would automatically be change to fu. i only know that prenousnciation of fu can sound like hu, that is why there is so much confussion about fu. and if you look at some of the other videos that the owner has like "what's in a name" the owner thought she said hukuyu and called the video that,
