  • i just bought a 1991 crown vic LTD 4 door for $180.00 today and it runs. but the gas pedal feels loose and is really close to the floor, any suggestions?

  • @sk8b0arding4lif3 hmmm check the throttle body, could be gummed up, may need to be cleaned. Also could be the throttle cable getting stuck somewhere. I strongly suggest checking out some forums for these cars, can be loads of help. Im on grandmarq. net, great site with lots of good guys. They will be able to help ya out!

  • God damn it, what an era. Back then if you wanted a V8 coupe, you could get one anywhere. What do we have now? A bunch of pussy Civics and Corollas and shit that you can't burn out in unless you mod the shit out of it or do donuts unless you're in reverse. If you were born in the 70's and grew up with cars like this, you're one lucky bastard. My first car was a fucking Altima, and my current car is a fucking Altima. Fuck that car.

  • @OsakaBancho This is my first car, still have it. Its awaiting some restoration (frame) and a motor swap this season hopefully. Im only 20, I happened to find this car on craigslist by chance a few years ago. My current driver is a 98 police package Crown Vic, might be getting a black 2006 soon. You dont have to drive the 4-bangers man, the newer Crown Vics haul ass, are very reliable/tough and average 16-20 mpgs.

  • Nice vid! I've got a great condition 87 caprice two door that I LOVE! my 84 is no longer with us due to severe rust =[

But I really want a Grand Marquis two door someday once I have more fun money and a real garage!

keep vids of this car commin, I'll sub

  • @llamafun5 Thanks for the comment! Caprices are good cars, lotta potential. These box-body panther platforms are very quickly becoming rare and its getting to the point that the only ones you find are the ones that have been garaged or taken very good care off. Demo derbies are mostly to blame :( Anyways its not uncommon now to see a 2-door in mint shape sell for $4-5k. If you get one take care of her, and be sure to post some vids! Mines parked for the winter but I will try and post an update.

  • Nice! I have a '88 with the 302 as well. It looks like you had both tires lit up there, I can't seem to get mine to do that on dry pavement. I don't know if it's because of the high milage, or if mine just doesn't have limited slip.

Beautiful car though, do you still have her?

  • ooooo baby LIGHT EM UP!

  • ahahahhah big body ltd rollin smoke nice!
