The fine art of using a corn broom to curl

It's a lost art mostly because you can't find these brooms any more, but for old school curlers, there is nothing like the sound of a an old fashion corn broom slapping the ice. These brooms are the reason that a skip will shout out to the sweepers. If he didn't shout, they couldn't hear him over the racket from themselves or the folks on the other ice.
