Martha Stewart's pal: Betrayal or BFF?

Mariana Pasternak, Martha Stewart's former long-time best friend, is speaking out for the first time about her role in Stewart's conviction. Her new book, "The Best Of Friends: Martha and Me," details her friendship with Martha Stewart and the end of that friendship after she testified against her. Pasternak spoke to ABC News Radio's Aaron Katersky.

Why do so many 'sheeple' want to give any of their hard earned money to Martha or the ex-friend who wrote this book is beyond me. Martha did commit a serious crime and was convicted for it. Soon after her release a new Martha Stewart store popped up in my town. It's funny how the Elite reward themselves. People are nuts to spend any money on Martha. It's far too out of balance as we see with current uprising against corruption and greed around the world.The 'served' will have to 'serve' next.

This woman is getting a good kick up the backside and Martha Stewart is not even interested in mentioning her name.she has moved on.Her real friends and her business people as wel l as all her employees have rallied behind her and she is doing better than ever inspite of losing over a Billion dollars becaus e of friends like Pasterank.Loathe her.

There seem to be a few other green eyed monsters in female form here on this forum besides Pasternak. This woman would never be in the race without Martha Stewart who does she think cares about her anyway Whichever way you look at her she has neither charm nor integrity.and not much intelligence either.If she didn't really know why didn't she just keep her stupid mouth shut..

Horrible friend, horrible book. Marianne is so jealous she is expecting Martha to share the wealth and give her an identity. Mariana is trying to prove that she is so much more worthy of Martha's husband, company, success, wealth and connections than Martha is. Nothing about Martha in the book that makes you love her less, however, you do understand her more. I hear Mariana has been ostracized by all of her real estate clients. (probably because Martha got them for her)

Before you judge this woman, read her book. I just finished it and it was powerful. Martha is such an ego maniac, as are so many successful people, that she thought she was immune from so many things that we all abide by. I highly recommend this book--well written and full of many beautiful narrative journeys. In face, Ms. Pasternak says more GOOD things about Martha than BAD!!!
