Thanks for posting this interview with the great Dr. Calidicott. I, too, wish she was in a position of real authority somewhere in the world.

Is she claiming that PSR is responsible for ending the cold war? How could an educated person even imply causality in a case like this?

Fashion causes global warming and if you don't believe that then you will never see that the ony purpose of Nuclear Power is to create Plutonium!

She is wonderful and i agree almost completely.
I disagree with her desire for a prohibition of of "guns".
An armed populace is less likely to be taken by an organized, armed government.
I love the idea of solar panels leading to a decentralization of power production.
And yes - all SUVs should be banned.
