Heres my new Skunk I just got him he's still a little baby!

UPDATE:

Ok, just so that I don't get anymore comments on what surgical procedures were done to him, where did I get him, ect! I obtained the said Skunk from some friends of mine they ended up with 2 I obtained 1. He was a wonderful pet and no I never had his scent glands removed. Before someone whips out their gas masks, please let me continue. I have heard of folks not removing their skunks "Gland" for the lifetime of the skunk. It seems that if you obtain a skunk when it is in its infancy, the skunk is liable to be used to you and surrounding family members....Visitors approach the polecat with caution! I was never nor have I ever been sprayed, I also have no intentions of being sprayed. If you do happen to receive a pet BABY skunk that has not been De-Skunkified I do highly recommend that you do so immediately. Don't take it to the vet, they will more than likely point you to the immediate exit of the facility. Try and find someone who works with ferrets. Ferrets have similar problems and they can more than likely fix one up for you. This is just a little update to help someone who doesn't read comments. Keep leaving them though. Thanks.

  • Even still, it would clear a crowded room faster than a hand grenade.

  • @MrRayRayo Most of the time pet skunks are de-scented. So they can't spray and smell no worse than a cat.

  • @auggiedoggy Fine. I would rather trap-and-relocate wild animals (except rats, mice, scorpions, and certain insects such as roaches and bedbugs--I'm sorry, but they die).

As for wherever I or anyone else may choose to live, that is our perrogative, and we each have the right to not only get rid of unwanted animals from our property, but to also defend ourselves and our loved ones from these animals. Yes, they have a right to live in their realm, and we have a right to be free from them.

  • @tatetalk Cool. I would rather trap-and-relocate, as I believe it is more humane than just shooting the animal. At least it's giving the skunk or other animal a second chance. But I'm not going to lose sleep if I do have to shoot it.
