Your photo class was my 1st course! And I really learned lots! I did not understand too many things then, and I did not use your forum for Q&A =( I did not want to look like a dork! not getting things down! But your knowledge is incredible! Keep it up!

I love your videos, you give a very clear explanation of shutter speed. I was trying just last week the shutter speed and noticed that my photos were black, even though I was outside in a sunny day, but I didn't manipulate my ISO, now after you saying I need to manipulate makes sense, I can't to try it out later on today.
Also, I was checking out your website, I am sorry to say this, but those classes you offer online are not a scam? There are so many weird things online. I'd like to buy it.

@shaninaiza I have a top 10 rated podcast on iTunes with over 75,000 downloads each month. I am on episode 62 of the podcast as I write this. I have been doing this a while. If you go to the website, you will find a ton of information for free. plus tons of information about me. I even have my own 800 number for listeners to call in and ask questions. For free. In short you have tons of info at your disposal to see if I am running a scam or not. Just head to my forums and ask those guys.

Doesn´t this rule of thumb leave out the issue of crop factor, assuming most people viewing this are not using full frame sensor? That is, with a 100mm lens, rather than a min. of 1/100th shutter, you would need to convert the 100mm to about 150mm for crop factor, assuming a dslr, and use a min shutter of 1/150th. yes?

@ckgarman This would be true fir other things, but remember that this is just a guideline. A rule of thumb. You don't have to sit there and do math on the fly while you're shooting. It gets you in the ball park and that is good enough.
