Definitely one of the most impressive tech demos of all time, the toy shop looks absolutely great and can even be used as one of your animated wallpaper. This tech demo is released for the ATI Radeon X1K series (2006), but captured using a ATI HD4770 512MB (2009) at 1280x720 4xAA, to bring out the beauty of the demo that cannot be seen by pre-HD Youtube videos.

It's 2011 and this is still the best tech demo I have ever seen. More recent tech demos have shown more advanced effects, but the art direction and staging in this demo is perfect. Far too often we see a lot of bloom and blur covering up bad artwork in games and demos. No need in Toy Shop.

what kind of framerate are we looking at here ? or what kind of framerate you're getting when not capturing ?
