Health Care Debate
The hot rhetoric the past few months on government inserting itself between you and your doctor and your health care, is not served by screaming and yelling. This is a point the president and I agree on. Better to get informed and know the facts. No need to be mad at President Obama, he is doing what he said he would. Weren't you listening? The Blue Dog democrats that I poke fun at in the song and video are the key presently.

If you recall 82 percent of America was squarely against the first bailout by GW Bush, and I am still mad at Tiberi, Voinovich, Brown, et al for voting for it. I am sorely disappointed by the Republicans and astonished at the Democrats for continually prop up and postpone the inevitability of the markets.
Had I bothered to go to the convention, I would have gone as the Unknown Republican with a paper bag over my head. The audio of this song is at http://reluctantrepublican.com feel free to download and shares get the free market message out. It is insane to think government can fairly be both referee (regulator) and provider in this or any other market. Government will soon be the only game in town if we continue. They keep saying it wont be like Canada but they are using the same talking points as Canada and the UK. Few Ohioans may remember (read history) Governor Whites 1933 promise of a temporary sales tax. And the 1913 promise of we will only tax the rich as the IRS, the Fed, and loss of state legislators power to appoint Senators was eroded. Thats why Senators now think they are kings of the U.S. they can play for favors nationwide not just at home. The point of this song is to think and provide thoughtful, respectful questions. There plan cannot stand up to a full questioning by informed citizens.
