I goto china twice a year!
I've seen these and they are not built by the same company!

I got mine in and I messed up the side pod on the pull start side because the plastic underbody dragged on the ground or grass and got ripped off. The pullstart got full of dirt and wouldn't recoil after pulling, after fixing it I decided not to run on dirt until my outterware pullstart cover.

@brushless55 yeah but was the breaking of the parts your fault or kms? maybe you were bashing it too hard..
-
Is this the model the rev 2 or the 3.0? and out of the two which is nthe better?

These things are awesome. HPI is a freaking rip off at 1200 bucks. Just like a harley, you pay for the name. BTW Hpi's CY engine is a knock off of the original Zenorah. It's not like hpi's baja is anything new. Besides bay $600 or less for a King motors and buy RPM A-arms and some turtle racing parts. You're still under what a stock hpi costs and you have better parts.
Most people who hate on these are just butt hurt they paid $1200 bucks for something with better plastic a-arms.

Actually, the KMs break more
I own one and I've replaced the plastics with actual HPI parts and those are holding up much better than my KM plastics did..

@brushless55 hpi uses on the 5t and ss the nylon plastic.. single woven strands melted together for a really strong piece. km uses a carbon fiber plastic-i think. the nylon and carbon are pretty much the same just cost dif and also one holds up alot better since it will give instad of breaking under alot of strain. but in cold weather they both will break so ally is best. since u can always bend it back :)
I can't believe this video has 15k views! jesus christ
Yes this buggy is very reliable, I have put it threw hell

anything broke so far?

@Naturepheonix
I've had to replace the front Upper Plate, Shock Tower, and Shock Tower Supports
however, that's not KM's fault, it's mine
jumped it way too far, then landed into a tree
expected worse to be honest..
replaced them with alloy stuff ;)
oh.... I torn up the stock rear tires very quickly (first day of dirt)
that I do blame KM for
the stock tires are really crappy, be prepared to replace them
I got some legit tires from a local hobby shop that haven't given yet
