The effort to nut the Glass-Stiegel was bipartisan - Phil Gram was at least as responsible as Summers.

As for ACORN, by law, they have to turn in every filled out registration they receive. In most cases, they helped local officials by flagging suspect registrations. And there is no proof of it leading to lots of illegal VOTING, anyway.

BTW, if you check my videos, I've done little but criticize Obama since he was elected.

The terms in which business frames these things as opposed to what they actually do represents a staggering disconnect. That, and the corporate news media are all part of veritcally integrated megaconglomerates, so they are inevitably tied to companies that benefit from these tax policies. Anyone big enough to exploit these policies does so. Why not? It's like free money. But I doubt they're interested in publicizing the fact that they use foreign tax havens - it might make them seem less noble.

I know what state means, but you said country, which I take to mean nation, which can be synonymous with state, but in the case of the U.S., no longer is, in the U.S. the term state is more synonymous with province, and yes, that's the way it is. I believe in the power of local politics and that people should focus on local politics, and if you don't believe me, check out my vids. Like abolition of civics classes which focused on such ideas and time periods. Like the 13 amendment was not about freeing slaves. Also to continue when a STATE to large amounts of new territory it was then called a Nation state. Now a stat not widely known is that less then 3% of American have any understanding of American history pre 1850. Why is this because not long after the centralized power mindset of Abe Lincoln won the civil war, early 1900s, Schools simply phased out teaching states power and the idea of local gov. This clearly states your a moron basing you opinion from the fed gov interpritation of the constitution. As of 1790 the dictionairy stated this. State - any body of people encompasing a city, many cities, or body of land posting the same name and governing itself. The word country did not even exsist in this context. Go look it up moron. Thats why colonies became states and did not remain colonies. America was then reffered to as a nation not a country.
