Killing Coal: Showdown at Highwood

See how the Montana Environmental Information Center and Citizens for Clean Energy are helping Great Falls residents and local ranchers and farmers protect their clean water, productive soil, and pure air from a dirty coal plant. This mini-documentary shows the opposition to the coal-fired Highwood Generating Station near Great Falls, MT. Coal is the dirtiest source of energy available. If built, this power plant would emit millions of tons of global warming pollutants into the air each year, would pose a significant threat to the health of the public and the environment, and would destroy some of the best agricultural land in Montana.
