I see alot of people talkin about how goku could beat vegeta at this time and it is obviouse becouse we all know about gokus' ssj3 form but i think this kinda of proves that vegeta's ssj2 form is superior to goku's I don't beleive goku was simply letting him win so that he could have that moment considering the fact that vegeta straight out killed people to get him to fight. Also i think the only reason he didn't use the ssj3 form here was becouse he knew he might need it for buu.

@damars654 Actually he didnt because he wanted to fight Vegeta with honor, AND mainly, because going SSJ3 takes away the energy he had left being on earth, which was only for a short time and going SSJ3 would decrease that time. So he wished to use it more wisely. Thats the main reason why. look it up if ya want.

Actually, Song Goku could go Super Saiyajin 3 at this point. He just didn't want to use it yet becuase it would take up all his time on earth. He wanted to save it for a situation where he had no other choice.
