A video review of the Amazon Kindle 3 ebook reader. You can read our full written review on our website: http://www.mobiletechreview.com/gadgets/Amazon-Kindle-3.htm . This is Amazon's newest 6" eReader and it features a high contrast Pearl e-Ink display that's much more readable under low light. The 3rd gen Kindle is also significantly smaller and lighter than the Kindle 2. It now has a web-kit web browser, improved PDF handling and it's available in two version: one with WiFi and one with WiFi + 3G. We compare it with B&N nook, the kobo reader and the Kindle DX Graphite.

  • @MobileTechReview Hi, I'm thinking of buying a Kindle 3 and I have a question. I know you can buy books and put them on your kindle from the Kindle store, but, is there a way you can remove a book temporarily from your Kindle and then add it to your Kindle again later on when you want it again?

  • @jhonen32629 Absolutely. You are only "shelving" the book when you take it off of your Kindle.

  • please tell me what type of files can I use it with Kindle??

    PDF DOC TXT or what ?

  • @knowledge2990 We have a list of all formats supported in our full written review. Follow the link in video description, check the specs at the bottom of the review page.

  • no touch screen O_o;;

  • lol!!! 5:03 read the last page displayed on nook :P

    Btw, thanks mobiletechreview, awesome video :)

  • @JuStWhY72- Nope each book has it's own fee. They aren't that expensive to be honest.

  • Are the books free on the kindle??

  • @8888Eastman I got one and i have to say it really surprised me positively. There is absolutely no negative aspect on the vision. It looks like you are reading from a recycled cardboard.

    Which i consider as a little negative, since i would like a more white/brighter background, but it`s okay. Only thing is the bad choice i made - small display on the 3rd. Some books don`t fit the screen, so you move left right and that is pretty annoying. Others are just fine.
