@MMKMatthews I think they both did actually. All that about sir Francis Haddock (which obviously is a reference to the real Sir Francis Drake) could be a source of inspiration for Uncharted. But Steven Spielberg definitely took some ideas from Uncharted.

@sotojoseph123 Yes indeed Uncharted 3 has the same ideas and they even search for the same treasure. Sr Francis Drake's. I mean what seriously. In the beginning the clue is found inside the boat, they crash in the desert, same environments

@Gamer7410 Actually if you want to get technical and I think you do, Steven Moffat, Edgar Wright & Joe Cornish wrote the screenplay.
