This is for the lovelies who missed class. Please follow along in creating your own template. Then put your pencil down and watch me use the template to draw part of Izzy. When done, use a mirror to practice using the template to draw yourself.

I wish I had said this in the video: common mistakes are placing your eyes too high. Your eyes will always be in the center and your face will always be 5 eyes wide. If you look too young it is quite possible that your eyes are too big. Your eyes are larger in comparison with the rest of your features when you are younger. This is why eyes on children in cartoons are typically large.

What may deviate from this template is the length and size of your nose, mouth, and ears. Make comparisons to find how this information is different from the template. Also, if you look too old it is quite possible that your nose and/or ears are too big. This is because the cartilage in these areas continue to grow as you age.
