Horowitz was a Communist until he realized that it a murderous and genocidal regime. Those who defend Communism are little better than the governments of China and Soviet Union who slaughtered tens of millions of their own citizens through torture camps and intentional famines by the complete confiscation of property.
Whenever you're confronted with this reality, you call your opposition racist to shut them down. You can only cry wolf for so long.
