Unknown to many, a Buster Sword exists within the FFX game files, but is not used anywhere. This means that the only way to get it is with hacks.

Interestingly, Tidus attacks with the blunt edge of the sword, just like Angeal Hewley and Zack Fair (the sword's original owners). An intriguing Easter egg, I must say.

I used FFXED to get the Buster Sword:

  • why didnt you assign it to a weapon Auron uses???

  • @Danrakich If Auron holds the sword it will point in the wrong direction.

  • ff9 makes a referance to clouds buster sword :P

  • That's not the right way but the blunt side would still crack some skulls!

  • @slitheryjuggler94 He holds it the same way Zack does. Doesnt use the blade to prevent damage to the edge.

  • @fuzzymillipede any idea why it does that?

  • @ChuckSwazeTV Dummied data counts.

  • Its not really an Easter egg if you have to use hacks to get it..

  • lol he holds it the the zack way cuz if he held it clouds way the monster would die before he could hit it HAHAHAHA!!! xD

  • @cruelscotty actually you just have to know where to train. AND the sword doesn't make it hit that high to can hit that high with any sword (provided it has break damage limit).

  • tidus is taking Angeal's advice: the more a blade is used, the more it's word and torn.

So therefore, don't use the sharp part...

  • That is one strong ball to hurt 99999.
