A special visit with Tish and Greg Westman at the Mt. Dora Dulcimer and Autoharp Festival. Tish was the 2007 Mid-Eastern Regional Mountain Dulcimer Champion and plays a one-of-a-kind instrument that Greg made. Here, she performs "Bonnie Doone" and talks a little about the dulcimer.

Tish is such an incredible player and person. She won the 2007 Mid-Eastern Regional Competition, and this past weekend, I took first in the very same contest. It's an honor to hold such a prestigious title. I'd like to thank Tish Westman for her encouragement, support, help of arranging, and advice that was essential in my winning! :)

Although it's hard to judge sound quality through computer speakers, that dulcimer seems to have a wonderfully fat, round, soft tone. It's beautiful.

And that's a moving rendition of Bonnie Doon.
