7 and XP= UNBEATABLE!

I HATE VISTA VERY MUCH!!!! a very bad OS . So many BUgs, MAny ERRORS!!! OVERACTING SECURITY!!! 2 words ! VISTA SUCKS!!!! I love 7 ! very good in interface. Very nice features, faster than ever! a very Great operating SYSTEM!!!!

Hardly, all they did is changing some cache paramters, somehting you can also do on Vista, which can also run in 512MB if you want to.

microsoft still says 1GB ^^, but thats enough to fully use W7, unlike Vista Basic which is unusable with 512mb ram

I installed Windows 7 on my netbook which also ran, at the time, Vista basic and business.
Business ran in Aero mode; 7 didn't. 7 was not any faster except in booting. The start menu was slower. Redrawing Windows was a *hair* faster.
Vista home basic is nicer to use and just about the same speed for me.
Windows 7 is the 'Windows 98' of the year 2009. Just like 98 killed 95 (a great OS) 7 is going to kill Vista - a great OS.

Use windows update to obtain the latest drivers or install the Vista drivers. Use the release candidate and you will change your mind! Win7 is smoother and more stable.
Aero is using 50% less memory, CPU usage is always low, battery last longer etc.
