Iranian president Ahmadinejad answered questions of students and professors at Columbian University, NY on sept. 24, 2007. Here he is asked what he would have said if he would have been permitted to visit Ground Zero, where thousands of people died to terror atacks on september 11, 2001.

  • the US government doesn't want him to visit Ground Zero because it would make him human. they want the US citizens to believe this guy is a terrorist with no feeling so they can herd their citizens like sheeps to another costly and destructing war in Iran.

  • wat did IRAN have to do with sept.11? NOTHING!! he should be able to visit and show his respect to the sept.11 tragedy.

  • We shall live in peace, we shall live in peace,

    We shall live in peace someday;

    Oh, deep in my heart, I do believe,

    We shall live in peace someday.

    Yes, I agree that there is a need for world powers to review their outlook.

  • President Ahmadinejad, I appreciate your gesture of peace towards America when you offered to place a wreath at ground zero. Your gesture reflects the peace and courage of Islam to me.

    I was one of the many Americans who wrote to President Bush at the time, encouraging him to welcome your gift of peace at our site of suffering in NYC.

    So even if you didn't place a wreath at America's still-painful wound at ground zero, the memory of your peace offering lives on. Thank you, President Ahmadinejad.

  • "This is our conviction: we confess it before all the world, we live and die for it. Respect for all who have convictions!" I have heard that sort of thing even out of the mouths of anti-Semites. On the contrary, gentlemen! An anti-Semite certainly is not any more decent because he lies as a matter of principle.

  • @proficiency1: Maybe, but who is this "yr ass guy" of whom you speak and why does the said Persian want to kick his ass? Is he Jewish this "yr ass guy dude" or what? If that is the cause of the violent behaviour I will invoke Nietzsche about anti-Semitism:

  • @GreatGrumbledook this persian will kick yr ass guy.

  • He brings up a good point. We were bombed for our foreign aid policy to Israel, not because they hate us for our freedom. Now, we chose to supply Israel in a free, republic system so its the choices we make with our freedom that they hate. And they want to force us to make better- decisions, but perhaps we SHOULD be making better decisions. Not that I agree with terrorists, but we should at least investigate the real- reasons to help prevent future tragedies.

  • In his other speech he defends summarily executed homosexuals, and compares being gay to murdering families in their home...I certainly -hope- that wasn't speakig according to what God has ordered.

  • Has anyone ever told this Persian that he is a giggling imbecile?
