Mandy, I appreciate you responding to my video. You are so beautiful and sweet.
Even though this is a personal decision, it is something I am not ashamed of. What I really want to avoid is the negative stories. I am already freaking out that I will be having MAJOR surgery in 2 weeks. I do not need to hear about complications or deaths of "my brothers sister inlaw's mother." KWIM?

I completely relate! I always want to say to people "Don't you think I know the risks!" It's enough to make me scream! :) But we are survivors and this is going to be a tough journey, but well worth it. I am excited to have someone with a surgery date so close to me. I look forward to having you to chat with! Mandy
