Get Fishing Pond Before Water Temple without Hookshot

Important Note:
This trick still requieres 2 explosives, so this is no Hookshot skip for the Any% Run!!!!

With this trick you can get into the Fishing Pond early as Adult Link without Hookshot and Scarecrow Song before actually beating the Water Temple ;)

This allows you to steal the Fishing Rod without having the Hookshot. Unfortunately, this trick still requieres 2 Bombchus, but I'm sure, that we'll find a way to do it without explosives someday. That would mean, that we could skip Hookshot and Scarecrow Song in the Any% Speed Run completely, what would lead to sub 0:55!

At 1:09, change your angle and once your in the front of the wall, sidehop and you may be able to grab the ledge.

link doesn't grab ledges while sidehopping and backflipping in OoT ;)

or you could plant magic beans by the scientist's house as a kid and when you become an adult the beans will have grown and it will fly you over to the pond

I can do the any% speed run UP TO this point. And this is where I give up.

How do you z-target while looking at link's front? I can do it in certain situations so that I'm z-targeting and looking at link at like a 45 degree angle... but not this...

@MetalBowser3 Ok where to start.. There are a lot of glitches and tricks go get the arrows. or well the mirror shield. Most of them involve the hover boots. Just look youtube up for "hover boots early" ;)

I don't suppose you could bring a guay to that corner and use it to hover all the way up? Failing that, going on TwilightSDA's suggestion, can't adult Link grab an edge off a side jump if you press b at the right time, like kid Link can? Anyway, this is definitely the awesome way to "Get Fishing Pond" :)
