Horses are running down a dirt hill into the water. It is a cultural event. I've watched this race in person countless times and I've never seen an injured animal.

people who say this isnt abuse are CRAZY a horse isnt made to run as fast as i can down a STEAP hill with 100 plus on its back then charge into a river ........
man some people, you would have to kill ME before i would let anyone put my horses in this race !!!! "if they dont want to race then they will stop.." yeah im sure its easy to stop with alot of excess weight on your back going down a STEAP incline with all of your weight plus 100 - 300 pounds on your front legs.......
