I video'd the full version tune for the fun of it. Great lyrics. You should all look up the 11 minutes "Radio Slave Vocal Mix" of this tune. It has a sort of tribal feel to it, in my opinion. You can find it at "Beatport.com".

Great conclusion. I also take the song as a metaphor to illustrate the dark nature people adopt during troubling times. Clearly this young women is intelligent enough to analyze and understand the dark side of her milieu, but at the same time she is falling victim to it. Will she get out, or will she be a victim of the blacklight sleaze indefinitely? The song ends with her saying that she will not be doing this forever, that she's only 18, but you are left with the feeling that she will.

I think it might mean: In the black light (in the darkness of the night, in the darkness of clubs, in the hidden) there are Sleazy(dirty, shabby, vulgar, etc) things that go on (things that you don't notice, things that you don't and can't see). Feel free to add on to what I've answered.
