Mini Movie "Lacrimosa" ~ Final Fantasy VII

Story: Sephiroth's a demon who someday possessed Cloud Strife, a young man very skilled in swordsmanship. He took over his consciousness and body and killed Cloud's best friend, Zack Fair, who had no clue what happened to the blonde. When Cloud regained his senses and saw his friend dead and blood all over his own body he knew he had done it, somehow... He screamed in anguish and guilty and all horribly feelings that clutched his chest. Some days later he went to meet his girlfriend Aerith Gainsborough and tell her that something was happening to him and he didn't know what. He wanted help and needed to tell someone that before it burst. But as she prayed that thing happened to him again... When he woke up his beloved girl was dead in his arms. This time he didn't scream. He just felt an awful sadness and frustration. He wasn't able to tell what was happening but he knew he couldn't continue among people. He ran away. In the misdt of the desert the demon meet him. Cloud finally find out that this demon was controlling his mind and making him do those terrible things. He chased him and, after a hard fight, finally managed to destroy him but, without nothing left to hold him back to life, he gave in to the wounds. Cloud was forgiven by Zack and Aerith and they received him in Heaven.

That's something really different from what I usually do. Never thought I'd enter the "horror' category. I'm not a serial killer, normally would kill just one person, but not everyone...
Funny I'd chosen the song before scheming the plot but in the end they fit perfectly *-*

P.S.: Sephiroh hasn't a family name and I needed one for the credits. Though about putting Hojo but Sephiroth didn't know he was his father. Though about Valentine (from my theory where Vincent is his real father, rsrsrsrs) but ended up with Lucrecia's one. Jenova's too ugly xD~

But again. the song choice was kinda strange o.O. It fits to the tragic theme but in the end, when they are fighting, the highlight fails, because the scenes are very heavy while the music is so quietly.

I think that you can become a good editor if you keep working on dealing with the music ^__^

ok, i got it (regarding the 2 videos). but i did this on purpose. 1st cause i couldn't change the music and 2nd I know it was a battle with strong scenes and all... but i reserved the highs of the song to the dramatic scenes. Actually the feeling towards the battle scene is melancholic and bitter. It really wasn't meant to be the apex of the story, consequently, not fitting the highlight ^.~

Okay I see what you mean. That's an intersting aspect. But it also depends on the viewers point of view you know ;)

A viewer cannot always get what the editor intended. It is also a question of how do we come up with our ideas and how do we hit the point/viewers opinion and taste.

I still think that you are really good, I don't want to make your videos bad, please don't get me wrong ;) I only want to show you what I liked and what made me consider if I let you into the contest or not ^^

We liked this video much more than the one that you entered in the other category.

The story is clear in the video and you used the voice overs in a comfortable way.

I personally adore your story, it is very strong and was an interesting idea.
