"Step outside the tallest building in the western hemisphere and the third tallest in the world. At 1,353 feet in the air, the Ledge's glass boxes extend out 4.3 feet from Skydeck." - Theskydeck.com. I went on vacation to Chicago in June of 2011. I visited the Willis Tower, previously known as the Sears Tower and went up to the 103rd floor to the observation "sky" deck. My father and I took turns walking out onto the "ledge". I am not too fond of heights or elevators so it was a miracle that I went up there. I am very greatful that I faced my fear that day because the views and overall feeling of being up that high is exhilarating and quite amazing. This is a must-do attracting for anyone visiting Chicago.
