  • It is possible, but it is not as common as dehydration. Drinking too much water can disrupt the balance of sodium in the body. It is best to drink 1 quart of water for every 50lbs, so if you weigh 150lbs then drink 3 qts per day. If you exercise then drink more. It is best to listen to your body. Also you want to avoid drinking too much of any beverage while you eat as that interrupts digestion.
