I would give ANYTHING to be back in the saddlebred industry. I have fond memories of it as a junior exhibitor and am now a 44-y-o woman who is very ill with lupus. For ANYONE to make any unkind remarks about this industry is cruel. I think you mistake us for the Walker industry who has had to make corrections. The saddlebreds were the most widely used in the Civil War- a unknown FACT. 200,000 died for THAT WAR because of their STRENGTH and endurance! They are beautiful and rare!

these horses 'ride like this' because that is the kind of horse that they are. you couldn't make a quarter horse do this, because that is not what they do. watch some more videos, maybe of saddlebred yearlings in the field and notice the natural high position of the head and the way they pick their feet up. do your research before you make ignorant comments like this. it just makes you look stupid.
