Nobody really knows if she was disrespecting her father or not, for him to make this call. Woman do have a bitch complex most of the time. I love Kim Basinger. But really what was all the fuss about here, this message is not that severe, I have heard alot worse than that said to kids by their parents. Admittedly my Dad has never said anything like this to me but he has referred to some of my Brothers with alot worse names than a rude pig. If Kim thinks this is bad she must really spoil her daughter so much.

I am not condoning Mr. Baldwin's actions - he was clearly out of control, but the real blame for this fiasco must lay at the doorstep of the obviously vindictive ex-wife Kim Bassinger. No mother who had her child's interests at heart would have made this public.  It's a private dispute within a family and it's no one else's business. If this is the worst tongue-lashing a child ever suffers at the wrath of a father, then she's very fortunate. Many good fathers have gotten justifiably angrier.

Not sure if RACE had anything to do with their decision to release the tapes to the media. Maybe they are just assholes. Futhermore, many of the people here are just judgemental pricks standing on a "high horse", as if they never acted out of anger.
